Meet The Team
Peter
Peter is the Company Director and has operated the business since it’s establishment in Sept 2005. Peter has over 30 years experience in agriculture and obtained a BSc in Agricultural Business Management from Reading University. He oversees the day-to-day operations of all aspects of the business, focussing primarily on the agricultural contracting and Christmas turkey operations. In his spare time, Peter enjoys spending time with his partner Annabel and daughter Elsie, going for a spot of clay shooting or messing about with anything that has an engine!
Hayden
Hayden has taken on the opportunity in January to take on the role as sales manager atour sister company, Mays Mulch. Hayden has vast knowledge within the horticultural sector has worked alongside some of the top people in the industry. He has run his own business for 11 years doing grounds maintenance within East London, Essex & Cambridgeshire. Once the business was closed he then went on to work for a very large company as the senior supervisor managing sites and staff. Now at Mays Mulch, Hayden strives to increase sales and business development within our ever-growing company. Hayden in his free time enjoys spending it with his 2 girls Lexie and Morgan and his wife Paige. From bike rides to shopping its all within the family interests.
Darren
Darren joined the company in October 2022, having gained vast experience in the construction & earthworks trades. His main role within the business includes operating our 22 ton excavator and Heizohack whole tree chipper on the green waste site, undertaking contract woodchipping for clients and managing the biomass site customers, who tip their waste on a daily basis at our farm. In his spare time, Darren enjoys fishing or having a blast about on his motorbike!
Shane
Shane joined the company in July 2023, having spent all is working life on a neighbouring farm. He brings a wealth of experience in machinery operations to the business and his primary role is tractor driving and assisting in the day-to-day operation of the yard. In his spare time, Shane is an avid Lego fan and can be found either building more models to add to his ever growing collection, or tending to his allotment!
